The following terms and conditions apply to your use of the Dog Date™ mobile application. By downloading and installing the application on your mobile device, you agree to these terms and conditions, our privacy policy, our refund policy, our limitation of liability policy, and any other legal notices posted by Dog Date on the platform.
In these terms and conditions, the words ‘platform’ and ‘application’ refer to the Dog Date mobile application, ‘we,’ ‘us,’ ‘our,’ and ‘Dog Date’ refer to Dog Date™, and ‘you’ and ‘user’ refer to you, the user of Dog Date.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, AND USING THE PLATFORM.
By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Dog Date platform, you agree to be fully bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. If you do not agree to any of these terms, you must refrain from registering for or using the platform. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement from time to time. Any modifications will become effective upon being posted or otherwise made available through the platform, subject to any additional notice required by applicable law. By continuing to use Dog Date following the effective date of any modification, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. We therefore recommend that you review this Agreement periodically to remain informed of any changes.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to register for an account or use Dog Date. By creating an account or using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity, power and authority to enter into this Agreement and perform your obligations under it. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to create an account or use the platform. Dog Date reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account where it reasonably believes that the user does not satisfy the minimum age requirement.
You further confirm that you are not subject to any legal, contractual or other restriction that limits or prevents your ability to accept these Terms and Conditions. You warrant that you will use the platform in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and that your use will not infringe the rights of any third party or otherwise violate applicable law.
Your acceptance of this Agreement constitutes a binding commitment to comply with these Terms and Conditions and any additional policies incorporated into or made applicable to the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration and throughout your use of Dog Date is truthful, accurate, complete and kept reasonably up to date. Any violation of these Terms may result in the restriction, suspension or termination of your access to the platform, subject to applicable law.
If the Dog Date application is downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, users acknowledge that Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and conditions and are not responsible for the operation, support, maintenance, or content of the application.
Users agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms and conditions imposed by Apple or Google in connection with the use of the application and in-app purchases.
Dog Date, and not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for addressing claims relating to the application, including claims regarding product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property infringement, to the extent required by applicable law.
By registering and using the Dog Date platform, the user expressly consents to receive communications and notifications related to the operation of the application and their use of the services. Such communications may be delivered through in-app messages, push notifications, and emails sent to the address associated with the user’s account.
These communications may include, but are not limited to, notifications regarding matches, messages received, payment confirmations, verification status, profile-related matters, document verification updates, security alerts, support responses, platform updates, new features, promotions, and any other communications reasonably necessary for the operation, administration, and improvement of the Dog Date service.
Users may manage their preferences regarding non-essential notifications from the settings section of their account, where they can enable or disable certain categories of communications. With regard to promotional or marketing emails, users may opt out of receiving such messages by clicking the "unsubscribe" link available in each email.
Notwithstanding the above, certain operational, administrative, or security-related communications are essential for the provision of the service and may continue to be sent while the user maintains an active account. These may include password recovery messages, security notifications, verification updates, transaction confirmations, or important service announcements necessary for the safe and effective use of the platform.
Dog Date is a mobile application designed to facilitate connections between dog owners interested in promoting responsible breeding and organising social gatherings for pets. The platform allows users to create detailed profiles of their dogs, add videos and images, include information such as breed, temperament, medical history, and location, and attach relevant documentation such as vaccination certificates and pedigree records. These profiles can be used to search for compatible dogs, either for breeding purposes or to schedule playdates.
Dog Date provides filtering, viewing, and communication tools that allow users to identify potential matches, unlock compatible profiles, access certain documents under specific conditions, and communicate via an internal messaging system. Some additional features, such as priority profile review or early access to featured matches, may be available for specific fees or subscriptions. The platform does not participate in the meetings or genetic verification of the dogs, limiting itself to providing a digital environment in which users can interact on their own responsibility.
To use the features of Dog Date, users must register by creating a personal account through the mobile app, providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. The registration process involves, at a minimum, creating a user profile and setting up login credentials, such as a valid email address and a secure password. Users agree to keep their credentials confidential and not to share their account with third parties. Any activity carried out from their account will be presumed to have been carried out by the account holder, who will be solely responsible for its use, whether authorised or not.
Once registered, the user may create one or more profiles for their dogs, including information such as name, age, breed, temperament, medical history, photographs and related information about the animal.
As part of the profile creation process, users must complete a self-declaration confirming certain health and documentation details regarding their dog. For playdate profiles, users must confirm that their dog's vaccinations and flea or parasite treatments are up to date. For breeding profiles, users must also confirm through a self-declaration that the documentation relating to the dog's breed, health status or other relevant records is valid and accurate.
By submitting this declaration, users may immediately begin using the application and interacting with other profiles on the platform. Dog Date does not independently verify the information provided through these declarations at the time of registration, and users remain fully responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information they provide.
Users may optionally upload supporting documentation to their dog's profile, including vaccination certificates, breed registration documents, veterinary records or other relevant materials. Uploading documentation is not mandatory in order to use the platform; however, if documents are uploaded and subsequently reviewed and approved by Dog Date, the user may receive a “Verified” badge displayed next to their name within the application.
Dog Date reserves the right to review, approve or reject profiles that do not comply with the requirements of truthfulness, consistency or that violate the rules of use of the platform. It may also suspend or delete accounts that show fraudulent activity, misuse of services, publication of false information or that violate these terms and conditions.
The user may delete their account at any time by accessing their profile settings within the application. When you delete your account, your profile will be deactivated and all associated data will be deleted, except for data that must be retained for legal, contractual or security reasons in accordance with the privacy policy. Deleting your account means you will permanently lose access to active matches, message history and any features linked to your user profile.
To promote transparency and trust within the Dog Date community, users may optionally submit supporting documentation related to their dog's health status, breed information or other relevant records. These documents may include, among others:
The submission of documents is voluntary and is not required in order to create a profile, browse other profiles, or interact with other users on the platform. Users who choose not to upload supporting documentation may continue to use Dog Date and connect with other users; however, their profiles will not display a verification badge.
When documentation is uploaded, Dog Date may conduct a manual review of the submitted materials. If the documents appear consistent and satisfactory based on the files provided, the user's profile may receive a “Verified” badge, which will be displayed next to the user's name within the platform.
The Verified badge indicates only that certain documents have been reviewed by Dog Date based on the materials submitted by the user. It does not constitute a guarantee of authenticity, genetic verification, medical certification, or veterinary approval of the dog.
Dog Date relies entirely on the documentation and information provided by the user and does not independently confirm their legal, genetic or medical validity. Users remain solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and authenticity of the documents and information submitted.
Dog Date reserves the right to reject documents that are incomplete, illegible, inconsistent or appear to contain manipulated or fraudulent information. In such cases, Dog Date may request additional documentation, remove the verification badge or take appropriate action against the account in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The review of documents is limited to a formal and visual assessment of the files submitted and does not involve laboratory analysis, veterinary examination or genetic testing. Verification may also be supported by technological tools, including automated systems and artificial intelligence technologies provided by third-party services, which assist in detecting inconsistencies or irregularities in the documentation. These tools serve as technical support and do not replace the user's responsibility for the authenticity and accuracy of the information provided.
Users acknowledge and accept that the presence or absence of a verification badge should not be interpreted as a guarantee regarding the health, temperament, lineage, behaviour or breeding suitability of any dog listed on the platform. Dog Date acts solely as a technology platform facilitating connections between users and does not participate in or supervise interactions, meetings or arrangements made between users.
In order to protect user privacy and ensure responsible use of the information shared on the platform, Dog Date applies specific restrictions regarding the visibility of documents uploaded during the dog profile creation and verification process. The documentation submitted by users, including vaccination certificates, breed certificates, antiparasitic treatments and any other medical or genetic information, will not be publicly visible or generally available to other users of the platform.
Access to these documents is strictly conditional upon the following requirements being met:
Once both conditions have been met, access to the other party's previously verified documents will be enabled to allow for an informed and responsible review before arranging a meeting for breeding or socialisation purposes. Dog Date does not allow free or advance consultation of this information as a security measure, for confidentiality and to prevent misuse of sensitive data.
If a user requires additional information or wishes to obtain clarification on the documents submitted by another owner, they must make the request directly to their counterpart through the platform's internal messaging system. Each user is responsible for deciding what additional information they wish to share and under what terms.
Dog Date reserves the right to restrict or revoke access to documents at any time if it detects misuse, attempted impersonation, unauthorised access or any behaviour contrary to the platform's rules. Users are also reminded that all documentation shared must be legitimate, current and consistent with the stated purposes of the profile.
Dog Date offers various access options to its features depending on the user's objectives, distinguishing between pairings aimed at responsible breeding and pairings for play dates. Each option has specific payment terms, feature activation and deadlines for confirming profile compatibility. All fees are expressed in British pounds (£) and may be changed at any time by Dog Date without affecting transactions initiated prior to the change. Updated prices will be published in the app and will only apply prospectively.

All transactions made on Dog Date are managed through external and secure payment providers, and it is the user's responsibility to ensure the validity and sufficiency of the registered payment method. Dog Date reserves the right to suspend access to features linked to any payment method in the event of billing failures, rejected charges, fraudulent use or breach of these terms and conditions. The purchase of matches or the subscription to a service does not guarantee the existence of compatible matches, nor does it commit Dog Date to generating specific results.
Dog Date incorporates a virtual credit system known as ‘Coins,’ designed to facilitate the use of premium features within the platform. Coins allow users to send match requests and access specific interactions within the application. Coins are not a form of real currency and have no intrinsic monetary value outside the Dog Date ecosystem. The acquisition, use, and management of Coins are governed by the terms described below.
9.1. Definition and Nature of Coins
Coins are virtual, non-transferable credits issued and managed by Dog Date. They serve as internal digital tokens that grant users the ability to send match requests for either breeding or playdate purposes. The platform distinguishes between two types of Coins:
Coins do not represent ownership, property rights, or financial assets. They cannot be converted into cash, transferred to other users, or exchanged for any product or service outside Dog Date. All Coins remain the property of Dog Date until consumed under the conditions set forth in this Agreement.
9.2. Acquisition of Coins
Users can acquire Coins through the following means:
9.2.1 Pay-As-You-Go Purchases
Users may purchase Coins directly via the Dog Date mobile application using Apple App Store or Google Play Store payment systems. Each purchase transaction is verified through Apple or Google’s secure payment infrastructure. Upon successful verification, one (1) Coin of the selected type (Breeding or Playdate) is automatically credited to the user’s account.
Purchased Coins are classified as system Coins, do not expire, and remain available indefinitely unless consumed by the user. All purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable, except where a refund is issued as a Coin following a match expiration as detailed below.
9.2.2 Administrative Gifting
Dog Date administrators may, at their discretion, grant Coins to users for promotional, compensatory, or goodwill purposes. Gifted Coins are credited directly to the user’s account and accompanied by an in-app and email notification specifying the type and amount of Coins awarded.
Admin-gifted Coins may include expiration dates. Unless the administrator explicitly sets otherwise, gifted Coins expire 30 days from the date of issuance. Upon expiration, the Coins are automatically removed from the user’s balance and are permanently deleted from the system. Dog Date reserves the right to revoke gifted Coins in cases of misuse, fraudulent behaviour, or breach of these Terms.
9.3. Use of Coins
Coins can only be used within the Dog Date platform to complete and confirm match requests corresponding to their specific type. Under the Coins system, the matching and payment logic operates on a mutual confirmation basis and differs from earlier payment models.
9.3.1 Match Request and Acceptance Process
When a user initiates a match request, no Coin or payment is deducted at that stage. The request is sent to the selected profile for review. If the receiving user accepts the match request, the receiving user will be required to complete the first payment using a Coin of the corresponding type or, if no Coin is available, by completing a direct payment through the applicable app store payment system.
Once the receiving user has successfully completed payment, the initiating user will be notified and will have a period of forty-eight (48) hours to complete their own corresponding payment using an available Coin or direct payment. Upon successful completion of both payments, the match is confirmed and the private chat between the two users is unlocked.
9.3.2 Failure to Complete Mutual Payment
If the initiating user fails to complete their payment within the forty-eight (48) hour period following the receiving user’s payment, the match will automatically expire. In such cases, the receiving user’s payment will be refunded in the form of one (1) Coin of the same type, credited back to their account. No chat access will be granted unless both payments are completed within the applicable timeframe.
Coins used or issued as refunds under this process follow the same classification and expiration rules set forth in these terms.
9.4. Refunds and Match Expiration Policy
Match requests are subject to strict time limits and refund rules to ensure fairness between users. A match will expire if either party fails to complete the required payment steps within the applicable forty-eight (48) hour period.
Refunds are handled automatically by the system as follows:
Refunds are processed automatically, typically within one (1) hour after the match is marked as expired. Users will receive an in-app notification and an email confirming the refund. Refunded Coins are immediately available for future match requests.
Dog Date reserves the right to investigate, delay, or withhold refunds in cases involving suspected abuse, fraudulent behaviour, or violations of these terms.
9.5. Expiration and Priority Rules
The following rules govern the expiration and usage priority of Coins:
When multiple Coins are available, the system will always prioritise the use of admin-gifted Coins before utilising system Coins. This ensures that gifted Coins, which may have expiration limits, are used first to preserve the user’s permanent balance.
9.6. Limitations, Restrictions, and Liabilities
Coins do not constitute legal tender, electronic money, or stored-value instruments. They exist solely as virtual features within the Dog Date application. Users acknowledge that the purchase, possession, and use of Coins do not grant ownership or property rights over Dog Date or its services.
All transactions involving Coins are final and non-refundable, except as expressly provided under Section 9.4. Dog Date reserves the right to alter the price, structure, or availability of Coins at any time without prior notice, provided that any modifications will not retroactively affect Coins already acquired by the user.
Dog Date shall not be held liable for the loss, theft, expiration, or deletion of Coins resulting from system errors, technical failures, unauthorised access, or user negligence. Dog Date’s liability under this section shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Dog Date allows users to upload, publish and share content within the platform, including but not limited to images of dogs, profile descriptions, behavioural characteristics, medical information, certificates, messages in the messaging system and any other data or files that the user voluntarily enters. By using these features, the user represents and warrants that they own all necessary rights to the content they share, or that they have sufficient authorisation to publish it, and that such content does not infringe the rights of third parties or violate any applicable regulations.
The user retains ownership of the content they upload, but grants Dog Date a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to store, host, use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, adapt and process such content to the extent necessary for the proper provision and operation of the platform. This licence remains in force while the content remains on the platform and expires upon its removal, except in cases where Dog Date must retain a backup copy to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent fraud.
The user is solely responsible for the content they publish or transmit through the application and undertakes not to upload or share any material that is unlawful, offensive, fraudulent or contrary to the legitimate purposes of Dog Date. In this regard, it is strictly prohibited to upload or disseminate the following types of content:
Dog Date reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, moderate, edit or remove any content that, in its sole discretion, violates these terms or violates the integrity of the community. Likewise, Dog Date may suspend or cancel the account of any user who repeatedly posts inappropriate content, without prior notice.
The user acknowledges that the content posted may be visible to other users depending on the matching and visibility mechanisms of the platform, and that they must act at all times with responsibility, respecting the rules of coexistence and the legitimate purpose of the service.
Dog Date provides users with an internal messaging system that allows direct communication between compatible profiles once a valid match has been confirmed. This feature is intended solely to facilitate the exchange of relevant information about the matched dogs, to allow the coordination of face-to-face meetings and to encourage respectful interaction between owners. Access to the chat is only enabled after mutual acceptance of a match and, where applicable, fulfilment of the corresponding payment requirements.
The messaging system is an integral part of the platform and is subject to these terms of use. Messages, files and images shared through the chat must be appropriate, relevant and related to the purposes for which the platform has been designed. Dog Date does not actively monitor the content of messages, but reserves the right to access, review or delete communications if it receives reports, has reasonable suspicion of misuse, or is required to do so by law. Users are responsible for everything they communicate or share through the system and must act with honesty, respect and good faith.

Failure to comply with any of these conditions may result in the temporary or permanent suspension of access to the chat, the removal of the match, and even the cancellation of the offending user's account, without any right to a refund. Dog Date reserves the right to retain limited records of conversations if necessary for investigation, legal compliance, dispute resolution or protection of the integrity of the community.
Users should remember that, although the platform provides a controlled environment, Dog Date does not participate in conversations and is not responsible for the decisions, interactions or agreements that arise as a result of communications between users. It is recommended to act with caution, maintain privacy and refrain from sharing information that you are not willing to disclose under your sole responsibility.
Dog Date offers a matching service designed to facilitate connections between dog owners for responsible breeding purposes. However, the decision to proceed with breeding is solely up to the users, who must exercise their own due diligence.

Dog Date does not guarantee successful breeding results and assumes no responsibility for reproductive outcomes, medical issues, or disputes between users.

Females usually come into heat every six months, with the fertile period estimated to be between days 10 and 14 of the cycle. It is the responsibility of users to coordinate the timing appropriately to facilitate successful mating.

The owners of the stud dogs must clearly inform the user of any applicable fees and specify what they include (e.g. additional attempts, fertility guarantees, etc.). Dog Date does not intervene in the negotiation process or in the fulfilment of these agreements.

Users are reminded that even when all medical and reproductive conditions are met, there is no guarantee of pregnancy. Dog reproduction is a complex and natural process that can be influenced by multiple factors such as stress, compatibility, environmental and genetic conditions, and the exact timing of the cycle. Dog Date offers no guarantees and accepts no responsibility for failure to conceive, problems during pregnancy, or the genetic or health quality of the puppies born. Users must be fully aware of these limitations before deciding to proceed with breeding.
Dog Date is a platform designed to promote responsible, respectful and safe interactions between dog owners interested in ethical breeding and socialising their pets. Use of the platform implies the user's commitment to act in accordance with the principles of good faith, mutual respect and legality, both in the publication of profiles and in interactions within the system. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the suspension, cancellation or permanent deletion of the offending user's account, without prior notice and without the right to a refund.
The user undertakes to use the application exclusively for the purposes for which it has been developed and shall refrain from any conduct that threatens the integrity of the community, animal welfare, the accuracy of the information published or the safety of other users. In particular, the following is prohibited:
Dog Date reserves the right to monitor, investigate and sanction any behaviour that, in its sole discretion, is incompatible with this code of acceptable use or jeopardises the experience, safety or trust of the community. Continued use of the platform implies express acceptance of these guidelines and a commitment to contribute to a safe, authentic environment that is respectful of animals and their owners.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that all activities conducted through Dog Date comply with applicable animal welfare laws, breeding regulations, veterinary requirements, and local legal obligations in their respective jurisdictions.
Dog Date does not supervise, inspect, certify, or control the conditions in which dogs are bred, transported, housed, handled, or introduced during meetings arranged through the platform. Users are fully responsible for evaluating the suitability, safety, health, temperament, and welfare of their animals before participating in breeding arrangements or playdates.
Dog Date strongly encourages users to seek professional veterinary advice before engaging in breeding activities and to prioritise the physical and emotional wellbeing of all animals involved.
Dog Date is a technology platform and does not provide veterinary, medical, behavioural, breeding, legal, or professional advice of any kind. Any information, recommendations, profile content, verification indicators, messages, or materials available through the platform are provided for general informational purposes only.
Users should consult qualified veterinary or professional advisors before making decisions regarding breeding, animal health, treatment, behaviour, training, or any other matter affecting their dogs. Dog Date shall not be responsible for any decision made by users based on information obtained through the platform.
All meetings, interactions, communications, breeding arrangements, and playdates arranged through Dog Date occur solely at the users’ own risk and responsibility. Users are encouraged to exercise caution, independently verify information, review documentation carefully, and choose safe, appropriate, and neutral locations for in-person meetings.
Dog Date does not supervise user interactions or guarantee the behaviour, health, temperament, identity, or intentions of any user or dog listed on the platform.
Users remain solely responsible for supervising their animals and ensuring the safety of themselves, other users, and all dogs involved in any interaction arising from the use of the platform.
Dog Date grants the user a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to download and use the Dog Date mobile application, available through the App Store and Google Play Services. This license includes access to modified versions, updates, upgrades, enhancements, extensions, add-ons and copies of the app, if available. The exclusive purpose of this license is to allow the user to access and use the functionalities offered by the platform in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.
The user agrees to use the platform diligently, lawfully and in full compliance with applicable regulations, refraining from any activity that is negligent, fraudulent, harmful or in any way compromises the integrity of Dog Date, its services or the experience of other users. Use of the platform for actions that may damage the reputation, interests or rights of Dog Date, its affiliates or third parties is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:
Dog Date reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate the user's access to the platform immediately and without liability to the user, in the event that any breach of the stated conditions is detected. This cancellation may be carried out with or without prior notice, depending on the nature and severity of the breach. In addition, Dog Date reserves the right to take legal action if the improper use of the platform generates economic, technical or reputational damage to the company or third parties.
The user acknowledges that the license granted is revocable and that its continuity depends on full compliance with these conditions. Any unauthorised or prohibited use of the platform may result in the immediate termination of this license and the adoption of the necessary legal measures to protect the rights and interests of Dog Date.
All rights, titles, and interests related to the Dog Date application, including but not limited to its source code, design, interface, structure, logos, graphics, trade names, trademarks, audiovisual content, interactive elements, databases, texts, sounds, and any other component incorporated into the application, are the exclusive property of their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws. Any reproduction, distribution, modification, adaptation, translation, publication, display, stream, broadcast, or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the contents or elements of Dog Date without the prior express written consent of the owner is expressly prohibited. Use of the application does not grant the user any ownership rights, license, or authorisation over the protected rights, except those strictly necessary for the legitimate use of the application in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any unauthorised use of the protected elements may result in civil or criminal legal action, as appropriate. Dog Date reserves all rights not expressly granted in this document.
Dog Date will respond to all enquiries, complaints and claims relating to alleged infringements of the provisions contained in UK and international laws and regulations on copyright and intellectual property. Dog Date respects the intellectual property of third parties and expects users to do the same. If you believe, in good faith, that any material provided on the platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please send your request via our contact information, with the following information:
Dog Date uses analytics, tracking, advertising measurement, attribution, and communication technologies to operate and improve the application, understand how users interact with its features, measure application performance, deliver push notifications, and evaluate and optimise Dog Date’s advertising campaigns.
These technologies may include Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Meta App Events, as well as related technologies and device or advertising identifiers. Depending on the technology and the user’s device, these services may collect or process technical information, application usage data, interaction events, device information, app identifiers, and advertising identifiers.
Where required by applicable law, Dog Date will obtain the user’s consent before activating non-essential analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. Users may also be provided with controls to manage or withdraw their preferences through the application or their device settings.
The collection and processing of information through these technologies, including the categories of data collected, purposes of processing, third-party recipients, international transfers, and available privacy choices, are described in greater detail in the Dog Date Privacy Policy.

Dog Date, its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable in any case for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, or any other damages arising out of or relating to the use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dog Date's total liability to any user for any claim, damage, loss or cause of action arising from the use of the platform, the services or these Terms and Conditions, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or any other legal basis, shall be strictly limited to the total amount actually paid by such user to Dog Date for subscription or services during the twelve (12) month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Due to the nature of the Internet, Dog Date provides and maintains the platform on an “as is”, “as available” basis and does not promise that use of the platform will be uninterrupted or error free. We shall not be liable to the user or any third party if we are unable to provide our platform and services for any reason beyond our control.
Our platform may from time to time contain links to other platforms which are not under the control of and are not maintained by us. These links are provided for your convenience only and we are not responsible for the content of those sites.
Except as provided above we can give no other warranties, conditions or other terms, express or implied, statutory or otherwise and all such terms are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You will be responsible for any breach of these terms by you and if you use the platform in breach of these terms you will be liable to and will reimburse Dog Date for any loss or damage caused as a result.
Dog Date shall not be liable for any amount for any failure to perform any obligation hereunder if such failure is due to the occurrence of any unforeseen event beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, Internet outages, communications outages, fire, flood, war or force majeure.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer which are available to you.
Subject as aforesaid, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Dog Date excludes liability for any loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, including without limitation any direct, indirect or consequential loss whether or not such arises out of any problem you notify to Dog Date and Dog Date shall have no liability to pay any money by way of compensation, including without limitation all liability in relation to:

We may change the platform and these terms at any time, in our sole discretion and without notice to you. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about these terms. Your continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of any changes to these terms and any changes will supersede all previous versions of the terms. Unless otherwise specified herein, all changes to these terms apply to all users take effect.
Any personal information you submit in connection with your use of the platform as a user will be used in accordance with our privacy policy. See our privacy policy.
This agreement of terms and conditions, together with the privacy policy, refund policy, the limitation of liability document and any other legal notices published by Dog Date on the platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Dog Date in relation to your use of the platform and shall govern such use. Registration and use of the Dog Date platform indicates acceptance of these policies and legal notices.
If any section of these terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired. Our failure to enforce or delay in enforcing any provision of these terms at any time does not waive our right to enforce the same or any other provision in the future.
Dog Date shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, fortuitous events, acts of civil authorities, acts of military authorities, riots, embargoes, acts of nature and natural disasters, and other acts that may be due to unforeseen circumstances.
Both the user and Dog Date acknowledge that failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in termination of the agreement between both parties.
In case of non-compliance by the user: If the user fails to comply with any of the terms set forth in these terms and conditions, Dog Date reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the user's access to and use of the platform. Dog Date may take this action without prior notice, and the User will automatically lose all rights to access and use the platform. Furthermore, Dog Date shall not be liable for any loss of data or information associated with the user's account.
In case of non-compliance by Dog Date: If Dog Date fails to comply with its obligations under the agreed terms and conditions, the User shall be entitled to terminate the agreement and stop using the platform. The user shall notify Dog Date in writing of the breach and allow a reasonable time for Dog Date to remedy the situation. If Dog Date does not remedy the breach within the set period, the user may proceed with the termination of the agreement.
Termination of the agreement shall not release either party from any obligations and liabilities that have arisen prior to the date of termination.
Continued use of the platform after termination of the agreement by either party shall imply acceptance of the conditions set forth in the terms and conditions in effect at that time.
Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the use of the Dog Date platform or the services provided by Dog Date should, where reasonably possible, first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiations between the user and Dog Date.
The user may notify Dog Date of the dispute through the contact or support channels provided by the platform. Both parties will use reasonable efforts to resolve the matter informally. If the dispute has not been resolved within thirty (30) days following notification, the parties may attempt to resolve it through mediation before a neutral mediator mutually agreed upon by the parties or appointed through a recognised mediation provider.
If mediation does not resolve the dispute, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration where arbitration is valid, enforceable and permitted under the law applicable to the user and the dispute. Where arbitration is undertaken, it shall be conducted by a neutral arbitrator in accordance with the applicable rules agreed by the parties or established by the relevant arbitration provider. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed by the parties, the arbitration shall be conducted in English.
Nothing in this section requires a consumer to submit a dispute to mediation or arbitration where applicable consumer protection law gives that consumer a non-waivable right to commence or participate in proceedings before a court, tribunal, regulatory authority, consumer dispute body or other competent authority. Nothing in these Terms constitutes a waiver of any such mandatory right or remedy.
In particular, where applicable law requires the consumer to agree to arbitration separately after a dispute has arisen, arbitration will take place only if the consumer provides the legally required agreement at that time. If an arbitration provision is invalid, unenforceable or inapplicable to a particular user or dispute, that dispute may be brought before a court or tribunal having jurisdiction in accordance with Section 34.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent interim, injunctive or protective relief from a court of competent jurisdiction where such relief is reasonably necessary, including in connection with intellectual property infringement, fraud, misuse of the platform, security incidents or circumstances capable of causing irreparable harm.
Any arbitration award that is validly issued may be recognised or enforced before a court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law. Any court proceedings relating to the recognition, enforcement, challenge or setting aside of an arbitral award shall be governed by the applicable arbitration laws and the jurisdictional provisions of Section 34, subject always to any mandatory rights available to consumers.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude, restrict, or limit any rights or remedies that users may have under applicable consumer protection laws in their country of residence, including mandatory rights granted under the laws of the United Kingdom, the European Union, New Zealand, Australia, or any other jurisdiction where such rights cannot legally be excluded or waived.
If any provision of these Terms is found to conflict with mandatory consumer protection legislation, that provision shall be interpreted and applied to the maximum extent permitted by law while preserving the remaining provisions of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies that users may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable consumer protection laws in New Zealand where such rights cannot legally be excluded.
Where the platform is used for business or commercial purposes, and to the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, users agree that the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 may not apply.
These Terms and Conditions and the contractual relationship between Dog Date and its users shall be governed by the laws applicable to Dog Date in the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to users based on their country of residence.
Dog Date is available to users in multiple jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Member States of the European Union, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and China. Users may therefore benefit from mandatory rights and remedies under the laws of the jurisdiction in which they reside. Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived by contractual agreement.
Where a dispute is subject to a valid and enforceable arbitration agreement under Section 31, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with that section, and the courts shall retain such jurisdiction as may be necessary or permitted under applicable law in connection with the arbitration, including for interim relief and the recognition, enforcement, challenge or setting aside of an arbitral award.
Where arbitration does not apply, is not agreed to where separate agreement is legally required, or is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, disputes may be submitted to the courts of the United Kingdom, subject to the mandatory jurisdictional rights available to consumers under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to bring proceedings exclusively before the courts of the United Kingdom where the law applicable to that consumer grants a non-waivable right to bring proceedings before the courts, tribunals or other competent authorities of the consumer’s country of residence. Nor shall anything in these Terms prevent a consumer from relying on any mandatory local law or consumer protection that applies regardless of the choice of law contained in these Terms.
To the extent that the parties are legally permitted to agree upon exclusive jurisdiction and no mandatory consumer jurisdiction rule provides otherwise, the parties agree that the competent courts of the United Kingdom shall have jurisdiction over judicial proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Dog Date.
Use of our platform is conditional upon acceptance of and compliance with all terms and conditions set forth herein. This authorisation to use our services does not extend to jurisdictions where these provisions are not respected or applied.
Our commitment to complying with these terms is strictly governed by applicable laws and legal processes. It is important to note that these terms do not restrict our ability to comply with legal or governmental requirements, including, without limitation, those related to law enforcement and the use of our platform. Information provided or collected in connection with your use of the platform will be subject to these requirements.
In the event that any provision of these terms and conditions shall be declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable by any court or competent authority, such decision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. The failure or delay in enforcing any of these terms and conditions by us at any time shall not constitute a waiver of our rights to enforce such provision, or any other provision, in the future.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted herein, while at all times maintaining the protection of and respect for our intellectual property rights and prerogatives.
